System Surgery is initiated by Tana Lucker and Savannah Theis. We are group facilitators, trained in Processwork. Our focus is on creative and precise interventions to support grappling with the difficulties and joys of our time.
We currently work in two formats:
Systems Coaching → for organisations
Collective Care → for communities and individuals with shared experiences
Processwork holds that seeds of the way forward can be found within the issue we are facing. Attention and awareness can support these to come to life. Like a microcosm or fractal: information for the whole system can be found within individual parts or momentary interactions and experiences.
We believe that facilitating these moments opens up opportunities to notice and foster new patterns. Through both our formats, we work to ‘map’ the underlying dynamics of where and how we collectively get stuck, to help recognise and intervene in those patterns.
Our project is informed by the questions, ‘what kind of world do we want to create?’ and ‘how can we live that world in this moment?’ We care deeply about social justice and working towards a world that celebrates, centres, and values diversity. We are dedicated to working in an anti-oppressive way. This is a continuous learning process for us, which we welcome feedback around.

Tana (she/her) is a Process Oriented facilitator and researcher focused on understanding and intervening in complex systems with aliveness and capacity for mess. She brings practical and theoretical tools for working with change on individual, organisational, and collective scales and is interested in the ways we make meaning out of our sensory experiences and how these might interweave with practices of collective care. Tana is based in Malmö, Sweden.

Savannah (she/her) is an artist, facilitator and psychotherapist, based in London. Specialising in a systemic approach, she explores how relationships - with ourselves, others, and larger systems - can transform and evolve. Her background in the arts and collaboration inform her interests in co-discovering creative ways for engaging with personal and collective challenges.
